We're often asked wether a particular strap will fit a particular watch model. Unfortunately it is impossile for us to know the lug width and style of every single watch ever made, so we've put together this handy buyers guise to assist.

It is impotant to note that some brands use proprietary straps. This was done in order to force the purchaser to go back to the brand for repeat businesness and if the watch has been out of production, can make it very difficult if not impossible to find a replacement.

Luckily, most brands, use standard lugs and you'll need to know the LUG WIDTH of the watch before you can go shopping!

• For a more accurate measurement, use a vernier caliper to measure the gap between the lugs, known as the LUG WIDTH
• If you don't own vernier calipers, use a ruler.

This will indicate the size of the strap you are looking for.
